Thanks for all the tips. Ive been dropping her off and picking her up from point pleasant, and using the route suggested by clefty and greenbank to get to the underpass through the back roads. She is very happy with that option, cuts out all issues of the one way system and is very very quiet. She starts in sheperds bush and has now found a route that goes along the river from hammersmith to that rail bridge in putney now too so has managed to cut out most of the roads!!
Its a little longer and slower but if she's happier I think thats the most important bit. Certainly better views than I get trying to go across vauxhall bridge!
