DHB is wiggle's own brand, which is why they are good value.
I've heard only good things about them, yes there is the odd quality control problem with the clothing (like things coming unstitched quickly) but you can always send them back if there's a problem.

Have done about 1500 miles in my DHB R1 shoes since I bought them around 6 months ago. These are my first clipless shoe so I don't have anything to compare them with but I've been very impressed with them. And despite being worn in some pretty poor weather they're hardly showing any sign of wear at all. Have had no problem getting a good fit using the velcro straps (they're very strong velcro, not like the crappy velcro I had on my trainers when I was a kid!).
One thing to be aware of is the sizing - I've got pretty wide feet and had no problem there but I would say they're maybe half a size bigger than I expected i.e. I ordered a size 8 but they fit more like a size 8.5 in my opinion.

I've got the MTB version, which are the same upper, but with grippy sole. They last fine, are well made, strong velcro. Had them for a year or so.
I use them everyday and off-road too. Would definitely buy again. In contrast to sqvrt, I found them a smaller fit, and had to exchange for a size larger, so I guess you have to gamble on that a bit!

I use the DHB's as my road bike shoe - done around 3000 miles over around 9 months, in some appauling weather - theyre still fine, they barely even show any signs of wear.
Oh and they get comfier with age/use.
I'm a size 11, and they were a little snug at first but wore in well.

His yum yums are accurately named however.
I've got a pair of R1s and they're very good, no complaints here, great value too.

what do we think of these then? my bro has recently got into road bikes and wants to get some shoes, was gonna go down the sidi/shimano route, but at £45 and backed up by good reviews they are very tempting. however the cost concerns me that maybe durabilty is lacking.
i own some Shimano R086 shoes which i got for £65 at my LBS, which i chose based on price, and the fact the sidis/higher end shoes were far to narrow for my feet. im very happy with them, and they have a rachet system which i assume is supirior to velcro. i say assume becuase these are my first and only clipless shoes, so i dont really know if they are any better or not. my bro might get these as well, but hes very much a cheap out or go big type of fella, no inbetween.
are these DHB shoes any god? rachets worth bothing with? any shops in london with a big range and large sizes to try on?
