what do we think of these then? my bro has recently got into road bikes and wants to get some shoes, was gonna go down the sidi/shimano route, but at £45 and backed up by good reviews they are very tempting. however the cost concerns me that maybe durabilty is lacking.
i own some Shimano R086 shoes which i got for £65 at my LBS, which i chose based on price, and the fact the sidis/higher end shoes were far to narrow for my feet. im very happy with them, and they have a rachet system which i assume is supirior to velcro. i say assume becuase these are my first and only clipless shoes, so i dont really know if they are any better or not. my bro might get these as well, but hes very much a cheap out or go big type of fella, no inbetween.
are these DHB shoes any god? rachets worth bothing with? any shops in london with a big range and large sizes to try on?
