Not sure if this has been covered or not (there's a few threads on vinyls stickers) but anyone heard about vinyl wrapping?
My wife's a designer and has used this company a couple of times to get stuff wrapped in pretty designs (most recently a radio). She was telling me it looked really quality, and i said it might be a cool thing to do to a bike. Also apparently if you get sick of the design you can just peel the bad boy off and you're sorted.
She was talking to them today and apparently they've never done a bike but were quite excited about the idea. Not that cheap though - tenner for materials but 50 bucks an hour for labour - they estimated 2 hours for a frame.
I was thinking perhaps a frame is a little too thin to be worth it, but a 'spok or disc wheel'd would look pretty sweet... They can do any design you email 'em...
Probably not going to do it myself due to lack of cash, but thought some of the mroe creative builders on here might be interested...
