If you care about the streamlinedness, red is a faster colour than blue.

^ Fact.
Red paint is also lighter than blue paint.

It's red, it's fast, it's your size:

If you measure your inside leg I can tell you pretty much whether it's OK based on the optimum saddle height and stand-over height. Reach can be adjusted by stem choice within reason. You need to measure it accurately however - use this method:
you need a hard floor surface and a door frame and a large hardback book and a pencil. Stand up straight facing the door frame feet about pedal width apart (approx 8") and ram the book as far up between your legs as you can as if you were using it as a saddle. Using the book edge against the frame to get it at right angles, you can mark off the book spine against the door frame and then measure to get your 'proper' inside leg. Repeat a few times and if it varies average it out. This is with no shoes by the way. DON'T assume your size in jeans is your correct inside leg, this has to be accurate to within a few mil to have any meaning. Let me know that measurement and I can tell you seat height and if this frame is a reasonable fit. I would be surprised it it wasn't based on your height. -

Alternatively I can put some wheels, bars and seat on it and you can 'try it on for size'... but it's worth doing the above anyway to know your approx. optimum seat height.

Ok great, Im going to try this today and get back to you later tonight (it will be after 11pm) If your free over the weekend I might come and try it on anyway.........Thanks for the tips! I presume ill measure it im cm...?

This is 30% faster than normal purely because of the colour- I'd have to go for red also.

Red has always been my hands down fave colour and a red/white bike has been a dream of mine but i also have had massive urges for a blue framed bike with spearmint and white tires, white saddle and pink taped handle bars.....a bit OT I know but i like the idea of it. Still... I agree, red is faster!!!! :O

dunno bout that Volvo though!!! Thinking more along the lines of..... fast like a Ferrari!! hehe!

OKydoky, Ive attempted to measure as you explained, but was a 4.5 cm book...!!! I marked the door way and measured in at 76cm from floor to mark. How does that sound?
My current bike measures from peddle center to bellow the saddle where the bar joins at 48cm.
My inside leg measures at 83cm.
What do think?..???

I think there's a misunderstanding somewhere! You say the measured distance from mark to floor is 76cm, but your inside leg is 83cm!!? The whole point of the measuring thing is to accurately measure your inside leg - where do you get 83cm from? Here is another way of looking at it:

OK i get it now :O I measure in at 83cm. It was the book that through me off! should of seen me fluffing around!! haha! better rub those blue pen marks off the door way now! Dont tell Fred!!!

83cm = pretty long legs for 168cm hgt, but should be fine size-wise IMO

I really like the frame and the crome forks but not being drilled for breaks may be a problem as i might need front brakes as suggested by friend, even though i think no breaks is much better looking.

i would not consider my legs to be long!
Maybe i should come take a look.
Looking for simple and stream line frame to build fix bike. Id like it blue but am willing to respray.......sugestions appreciated :)
