TV Licence

Not sure about that. I gave away my tv and stopped the licence a few months ago. I had a letter telling me I am allowed to have a TV for watching DVDs and tapes as long as it is not capable of receiving a signal; no aerial or cable in other words. They also said they may at any point come round and check.

in my flat last year, we kept getting threatening letters through saying that they'd send someone round and we'd get a massive fine. eventually i wrote to them explaining that i didn't actually watch tv, and only used the tv for playstation-ing. after that i didn't hear anything more from them
