Does anyone make white carbon forks?

Posted on
  • Was thinking last night about maybe changing the colour of components (seatpost/stem/wheels) on my Rourke from black to silver. However I think that may look a bit shit with the black carbon fork. Does anyone make a white carbon fork or would it be a matter of having one powercoated?
And yes I did fucking google it but didn't come up with anything!

  • How about these for £100. They are the ones off the top end Cervelo bikes.

  • Internal h/set?

  • technically you cant get white carbon thats called fibre glass

but a few companies have painted carbon forks

  • hence the term 'carbon black'

  • i've not heard that term before

  • carbon is used to colour tyre rubber and plastic black

  • the 2009 genesis flyer comes with "white" carbon forks.

i've seen coloured carbon weaving before, but it doesnt have the same effect as a painted component.

  • +1 ^

  • London Langster. Should be able to find one of those cheap.

  • racist?

  • racist?

You're confusing "white carbon forks" and "glorious white carbon forks"

  • there are some silver carbon forks available at ribble for <£70
