Cavendish would be stupid to sign up for it at the moment. He's got a strong team at Columbia and with Boasson Hagen & Renshaw he's got such a good lead out. Going to an all British team would be a step down for him.
It would be great to see Millar, Wiggins, Cav, Thomas in the same team, but after that TdF standard British riders get a bit thin on the ground, and there are no real GC candidates. So do they then fill it up with lesser road racers? convert some of the track racers? allow in non-British racers? [U][/U]
