i invented that phrase. i can't say i'm happy about it being appropriated by 'newbies' but if it helps the feel accepted then i suppose it's a good thing.
i'm working on something newer and more incisive at the moment around the concept of the 'fixie-nodder'
basically the illusion of speed through thrashing around on a very low geared upright bike with risers that has the same saddle and bar position as a nodder/hybrid/brompton but is essentially a fixie.
'NowhereFastFixie-Nodder' is a bit of a mouthful though so maybe just 'fixie-nodder'?
