Tough crowd. Nothing on there I'd change except for saddle, bars and pedals, which are purely personal comfort/fit issues. The ones fitted aren't distasteful.

I think changing the Hetchins frame out for a more contemporary one would be the easy fix. Lovely frame, wrong build.

Aside from anti-anachronism nazis, who's going to object? It's a good frame with good parts. Do you think he should have binned the tasty black Grammo stem just because it doesn't period match the Ellipse wheels?

yeah, dont want to be too anal about period parts, but its wrong to put modern mid range parts on a rare and classic frame. you wouldnt paint a jag E-type in two tone paint wearing blinging alloy wheels for the same reason.
