Dahons are where you're looking at for that price bracket. Cheaper would be a raleigh 20, but they use old sized parts.

has anyone ridden a Dahon Mu Uno? looking at getting a light, simple folder and it appeals to my desire not to bother with derailleurs or hub gears.
there are times my other bikes aren't suitable so the next n+1 needs a point of difference.

if everyone on every forum used the search instead of posting a new question, there'd probably be 90% fewer threads. not sure thats a good thing. and besides, new threads often bring up new answers, new information that wasnt given in the old threads. so please, stfu.

most of the new threads on this forum are not cycling related anyway, so i reckon we'd still be OK if people used the fucking search.

Have a look for a second hand Hon Solo, Steel frame SS/Fixed. Much nicer that the Mu but a limited run.
hey there,
I'm looking to buy a folding bike for my mom and was wondering does anyone have any brand/model suggestions?
Its gotta be less than £300 and something with 20" wheels. i'm not fussed if its brand new or 2nd hand.
much love.
