We went for a walk along St Paul's Road this morning and there was a sign placed by someone to the effect that a black and white cat killed in a traffic accident had been taken away by the council. Only oddity was that the date given was 24 June rather than 25 June. Either there was an error with the date or there has been a spate of black and white cats being killed in the vicinity. The sign was in the direction that the cat ran off in after I hit it.
My elder daughter is allergic to cats and so cannot have one. She does, however, love them and apparently has a favourite cat that lives in our road and which she talks to when she passes. She comes back from Glastonbury tomorrow. I hope "her" cat is not black and white.
