    physio is a must, try and do strenthening exercises as much as possible. swimming is great. i have also invested in one of those trampettes, which lets you exercise without the stress on joints, and you can do it in front of the tv...

    they also say that plants from the nightshade family (tomatoes, aubergines etc) are not good for arthritis. something to do with the acid or something.

    good luck with it and definitely get it seen to - it will be worth it in the long run.
