Sounds like you could do it yourself if you're a designer. Get yourself a copy of Fireworks and Dreamweaver and off you go. Would be good to learn, no?

I am in process of learning but its a complete different language to what I do and consists of several different components which are beyond me.
No qualms with the design part but the composing part is tricky.

Hey,
What have you got to trade? And do you have some work online I can see on another site?
Might be able to do something for you...pm me -

How often you planning to update this site? If it's something you want to update regularly it might be more worth while just to put it up on Carbonmade or Tumblr as they offer the ability to easily upload new images.

Website will be updated either once a month or so - not too often.
Carbonmade or Tumblr look pretty good but just not professional enough. A nice platform to present your work but sites like these work against themselves in the purpose they serve as they don't show content in a 'neutral' and personal manner - 1,000,000 portfolios online - you just add to the number and promote the site itself when attention should be just on you.

Read a couple tutorials and go it alone... invaluable experience for the future.
I'm after someone that can build and develop a website for me. The situation would be myself to design it and provide the person with .Ai or .Psd files and then he or she would put it together and package it, ready to host.
I'm a graphic designer so the site is going to be my portfolio-wanting it to be basic but considered, non flash (but may have flash elements), not built with indexhibit.
I can't afford to pay proper bucks as I'm not in a position to do so, so I'm after for a pro-bono offer or a student who can help me and in return, this site is completely theirs to put in their folio as It will be up and running and as I start earning a few more quids, regularly maintenance will be paid for and I can pass your details to others who need web work.
I also have bunch of bike components that I can give away -
