A few points in defence if i may..
I got caught, no questions it was my fault. Not arguing that.
Before i even stopped the guy was out of the car in my face telling me what an asshole i was.
Are you lot telling me that you would have all been nice as pie to a jobsworth giving you an earful??
- Do i live in such a dangerous part of the city that i should expect to shot at if i give the finger to a driver who cuts me up!?!?!
Oh come on, someone else find please find that rediculous!?
- I wasn't rude to them. i did not swear, i did not refuse to answer any questions. so i gave them a bit of cheek - what's the big deal in that?

I don't think 'asshole' had been done before, although it should of course be the non-American version, and I don't think anyone's done 'giving the finger'. So give him some credit.
