  • Hi everyone,
I have just sorted out some really nice brakesets - there are plenty of bargains to be had...
Shipping on brakesets will be £3.50 - shipping on more than one item will be combined to reduce the cost. ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL; viewing/collection welcome. Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…

SUNTOUR BLAZE DIA-COMPE BRAKESET NOS - these were made by Dia-Compe and featured their new aero levers with helper springs and light spring action on the callipers, they are really nice brakes to use. They are allen bolt fitting and have a drop of between 40 and 52mm approx. £21

MODOLO PROFESSIONAL GOLD BRAKESET NOS 70s/80s - it is standard hex nut fitting with a drop of approx 40-52mm. One hood is rather dried out but Modolo hoods are easily found and relatively inexpensive. The missing adjuster will be replaced - I have quite a lot of Modolo brake spares if anyone is interested. £75

WEINMANN 405 BRAKESET NOS NIB 1970s/80s which is complete with cables and is from the late 70s/early 80s. It is standard hex nut fitting and shallow drop approx 42-52mm. £33

    MODOLO SPEEDY BRAKESET

CAMPAGNOLO VICTORY BRAKESET very good/excellent condition brakeset which is shallow drop (42-52mm) and allen nut fitting. One of the lever clamps is not original. £33

SHIMANO 600 EX BRAKESET Early 1980s Standard hex nut fitting, 47-57mm brake reach very nice condition with Modolo lever hoods in very useable condition. Rare in this condition £20

SHIMANO 105 DUAL-PIVOT BRAKESET allen bolt fitting 39-47mm brake reach in nice condition, levers have one or two small scrapes £18

DIA-COMPE AERO BRAKESET NOS 1980s - a fabulous brakeset with ultra short reach - according to Sutherland’s manual 37-43mm reach with of course allen bolt mounting. These are really exceptionally rare and beautiful brake calliper widely used on time trialling bikes in the 1970s and 80s and great for those ultra close clearance track frames. £55
