Harlesden/Wembley is fucked. I lived in Queens Park (Harrow Road) for 15 years, and Harlesden was always dangerous at night.
I remember once, I had an older girlfriend, and her daughter's boyfriend comes bursting through the door in the morning. He was out of breath and laughing. He said he and some friends had just shot up a local post office, and stolen money; he thought the Asian man that owned the post office/shop was dead. He thought it was funny.
I had to restrain myself from killing the little bastard right there and then. I broke up with that girlfriend, as I couldn't abide what her family, and associates stood for.
That the 2nd generation immigrant (like that adolescent boy) could think its funny to kill another immigrant, was beyond me. This happend a long time ago, but ruined my opinioin of Harlesden. Nice market in Wembley though.
Now back to bitching about newbies.
I like LndnGrrl though. She's really different. Bold as testosterone too. ;)
