I've noticed on internet boards when people try to organise something in real life, it tends to fall apart when some people post up "shit i cant make it" because then other people who might go read that first, and think that nobody is going. If you cant go, there'll be other occasions, but may I suggest you let other people who are going or who might go post first, to encourage others to come along.
