The City Barge is shit, those chairs in the picture are about 3ft from the River and the towpath is dead busy, the food is wank and over-priced and the owners don't like noise so the pub is frequented by geriatrics. We would not be welcome en masse.
Yes. The towpath there is about 6ft wide. Didn't like it there when I went about a month ago. First pint I had was flat, not the best of starts.
Dark and creepy inside. Tiny bar. Nice toilets though.

Is Hampsted too far for any of you? Or too costly?

Nice toilets though.
Patrons keep dying in 'em so they get re-furbed a lot.

drats, this thurs might be my last for a couple weeks, looks like i might be expected to do things next thurs (got away with so much, or doing so little.... so far) so the end of the crabtree is gonna be a mile stone for me. it'll be two weeks (longest time away from west beers :( .
not even sure if i can do the reccy. -

is the city barge too far out west? it is next to the river and got a great outdoors area for the smokers
Is that right next to the river off the Kew Bridge? That looks an awful lot like the one I was mentioning!

Oh, I see, the tide has already turned against that pub. Teach me to comment without reading the next two pages.
LdnGrrl - you can't stop reading until the day of, sometimes an hour before. We might change our minds and go somewhere else.

Wests this week as at The Crabtree. No messing.
-
• #7143
No, I meant if you are still able to look at the thread by 4 p.m. and no one's said, "Hey dudes, let's go to this pub instead" you should be golden.

I was gonna say I think it's even later than in Minnesota (but no) the weirdest place I've lived, sunrise around 7:30 a.m. or later and sunset starting by 3:30 p.m. in winter. Obvi, opposite in summer, I think it still looked like this at 10:30 there....

late dementia, probably confuses a few older people
