Chap trackstanding on Victoria Embankment westbound at junction with Horse Guards Ave this morning pre-9am. I did a lot of staring because I was trying to see if you were the guy who I usually see trackstanding there on a geared bike, which is quite an impressive feat IMO. But obviously you weren't him, so I was much less impressed. Ha!

Jonny and his Copacetic on Waterloo Road this morning - thanks for being so polite to the complete stranger who accosted you.
When I saw the decals on the frame I was pretty sure I'd seen the name on here and nowhere else; what's the story behind the name?

a minute later, saw a guy on a blue eddy merckx with white rims+tyres with matching white socks and white sock-like shoes going up the pavement over the bridge westbound.

Saw a guy yesterday, at about 5 in Camberwell. He was pushing a white Mercian with black decals, chrome drops. Nice bike mate.

Nice to ride in with ya.
Maybe see you tomorrow... if not, have fun in Munich. -

spotted Brandan from BAD polo in NYC.
Did he give you the kick in the shins I sent over for ya?
Spotted: Not very many fixie-skid bikes in Budapest... No mythical cheap tarck builder either, it seems he can only be bothered to do repairs these days... :/
Back in London tonight, anyone up for slacker beers tomorrow? :D -

Diggory? Mate, it's Jamie. I thought i recognised you as i rolled past yesterday. That's buzzing. We were talking about both owning fixed on facebook, and then i see you for the first time in years in the area, and were both sporting mercians...

Pfew... It seems that nobody saw me this morning in Vauxhall, falling of my bike ALL BY MYSELF, on the pavement / pedestrian / cycle / bus lane there, this place is quite confusing, I was following another cyclist from too close, he braked for no reason and BADABOOM!! I was on the floor in no time... Front brake / stering / balancing epic fail... People arround must have had a proper laugh at me! No damage at all to me, the bike is fine... except for a massive skratch on my brooks handle bar tape... ARGHHHHH!!!
Szia,
Clumzy Loic...

nice to meet you Paul. no real story behind the name. it is just my favourite word and when i had the bike resprayed a few years ago it was the only thing i would have written on it. the make of the frame is unknown. you'd be surprised how many people think it is the name of a proper framebuilder though.
also, had a good chat in heavy traffic with chopsicle yesterday aldwych to waterloo. good luck with the roll to glastonbury dude. see you on the DD if not before.
some dude with what looked like a blue fixed dolan with yellow grips and a fizik saddle, at the new swiss cottage sports centre football field.
