He used a frame I sold him . I got it off a friend who was sold it at Ripley , I think.
Its an old 3 speed roadster frame , stripped down with all the rod brakes removed etc . I suspect its pre war or just after.
The parts are all vintage , apart from the wheels which had new rims.
So if you want to do some thing similar, then look for old roadster and start from there...
