Trade: Wheelset: Miche Primato 32h hubs, grey Araya CT-19N unmachined rims

Bought off eyebrows for £90, rear wheel ridden for about a week. These are in great shape, just barely out of true. I need a set of hubs, 36h, I'd like to trade these wheels for your hubs or your full wheelset, just need a machined front rim. Will not split.

I have a black dia compe 'gran compe' front hub remaining.. 36h of course, never used.
Trade + compensation?? I guess just one hub isn't the deal.

Will only sell provided that I can find at the very least a 36h hub set that's decent. I have issues with front hub that need to be sorted ASAP. (they're not really worth rebuilding)

just use a brake on the rim. machined surfaces on rims are only a recent development

Back in the early nineties all MTB rims came completely annodized- you just had to wait for the brake surface to scrub in- a process that was a lot faster in winter when there was loads of gritty mud around.

I presume that the machining these days just skims the annodizing off?

They're really narrow, Aram says they aren't wide enough for a brake pad to grab? Hell, if I can just do that I'll be happy to keep them.

i've seen brakes run at tub rims 5mm wide, just get narrow pads.

I know, I know! I was only gonna b/c Aram said it wouldn't work! If you guys say they will them I'm slappin' those suckers on there and be happier in my riding.
