Damo - assuming I still make this, which is looking on, I was thinking of picking up the ride in Balham as that's where I live and the route comes through this way, rather than ride all the way in and then back.

Guys, if you want to hop on later, you're welcome, just make sure you don't miss us and that you have a mobile contact on the ride. damo, it would be good to have you as backstop HPC-Balham, but I can obviously ask someone else, too. With a large group like this is looking to become, it'll be very important to have a backstop through London, even more so than out in the countryside.

Of course, will sort out mobile numbers next week.

I'm very used to hanging around on street corners in the middle of the night, waiting to meet groups of strangers off the internet.

I am in Crystal Palace and was thinking about joining the ride in the St. Reatham area. Would save about 15 miles to Hyde Park and back... Then again, it would be nice to start the ride with everyone else... I can always get the train to Victoria from CP if I wanna save a few miles I guess... Probably do that.

The BB on my fixed is making some clicky noises, so that might be just the excuse I need to get the road bike out for this one. Gotta get some decent lights too...
