They were arrested for 4 days just for asking a policeman to identify himself!

  • The pigs in this country are getting away with more and more nowadays. We will soon be a police state

  • The pigs in this country are getting away with more and more nowadays. We will soon be a police state

    It's looking that way

Or has this always been going on and it's just come to light because of a more media savy public?

  • What happened with the guy they killed and the woman they battered in London?

  • fuck man, people have too much time on their hands

  • wow i just watched the whole thing through. it's extremely worrying that they were denied access to a solicitor and put in a PRISON as appose to being held at a police station.
other than that i don't have any sympathy for them, if you're a big enough prick to go around baiting the police then you have to deal with a bit of rough handling. this is surely what they wanted anyway?

  • other than that i don't have any sympathy for them, if you're a big enough prick to go around baiting the police then you have to deal with a bit of rough handling. this is surely what they wanted anyway?

    Yea right..................... They deserved it.................

  • Seems the police didn't have much to do that day hanging around the Climate Camp, so intimidation of people who set out to monitor them became an amusement. These cops behaved abominably, even in their own evidence-gathering. Fucking idiots.

  • Yea right..................... They deserved it.................

so what is their objective then?

  • Who, the police? Sometimes I wonder.

  • Errrrr to make the police accountable?

Remember the police are here to serve the public....

  • No they're not, they're employed to serve the Crown. Which means the interests of the elite, not us Dave.

    lpg?

I thought The Police are classed as public servants?

  • Who, the police? Sometimes I wonder.

no the women. they disagree with the police filming protesters so they go about filming police. i don't understand how this solves their original grievances, or provides any kind of positive solution. it is overly, overly petty.
as far as i'm aware they're not connected to that protest itself, and i don't see any protesters getting in trouble (although, actually, i'm sure some did at that climate camp..) i don't really see what they're doing other than wasting police time and getting in the way of them doing their job which is to manage the climate camp.
i don't support police brutality and like i said it's very worrying from their account of the days that follow their arrests. that is something that 100% should be looked into and i don't support the loss of anyone's rights.
however, like a lot of things, this seems to be stupid people doing stupid things and then throwing the old innocent eyes when they get called up on it.

  • so what is their objective then?

Video is self explanatory to there objective is it not ?

These overly petty women are the people that bring police brutality to the public realm

These stupid people throw innocent eyes because they have not broken any laws (funnily enough)

  • Video is self explanatory to there objective is it not ?

it would be if it was anyone other than THEMSELVES getting arrested, yeah

  • You can't do fuck all in this country anymore without being photographed. But as soon as you try and take a photo of the old bill, you can pretty much expect a beating. There is something very wrong there

  • I watched a film once where a policeman kept using his truncheon on this pretty lady. They were both very happy to be filmed.

    Very happy.

  • Gotta agree with MikeC. It's not petty, it's the whole "who polices the police?" thing.

    Round, round
    Circumventing circuses
    Lamenting in process
    To visible police
    Presence sponsored fear
    Batallions of riot police
    With rubber bullet kisses
    Baton courtesy
    Service with a smile
Beyond the staples center you can see america
With its tired poor avenging disgrace
Peaceful loving youth against the brutality
    Of plastic existence
    Pushing little children
    With their fully automatics
They like to push the weak around
    Pushing little children
    With their fully automatics
They like to push the weak around
    Round, round
    A rush of words
    Pleading to disperse
    Upon your naked walls, alive
    A political call
    The fall guy accord
We cant afford to be neutral on a moving train
Beyond the staples center you can see america
With its tired poor avenging disgrace
Peaceful loving youth against the brutality
    Of plastic existence
    Pushing little children
    With their fully automatics
They like to push the weak around
    Pushing little children
    With their fully automatics
They like to push the weak around
A deer dance, invitation to peace
War staring you in the face, dressed in black
    With a helmet, fierce
Trained and appropriate for the malcontents
    For the disproportioned malcontents.
The little boy smiled, itll all be well
The little boy smiled, itll all be well
    Pushing little children
    With their fully automatics
They like to push the weak around

    Push the weak around

Police brutality was horrendous during this demonstration, and there were many unjustified arrests made.
It has been reported that certain known activists names were made aware to the police before the demonstrations were under way,
Secret emails were recieved by the guardian confirming this information.

  • System of a Down!

I haven't heard this for ages. I hope I have it here...

  • I love a bit of SOAD in the mornings, really wakes me up!
