Definitely a fun ride guys, Sorry I decided to bail on the way back but it seemed the most sensible thing to do. I'd have been more than pissed off if I couldn't do the DD in a couple of weeks.
Once we got going, around 8 miles before Hemel, the group really started riding properly together. It was nice to see and very different from the usual forum outings.
My "paper based memory" is pretty much blocked solid until the end of July but I think I can squeeze another long fast ride into the weekend of 25th-26th.
I'll get back to you when I've worked out a route.
