    make me on offer... :)

  • id be interested in the wheels but no idea what theyre worth (new at this :) )

    how much you after?

  • okay so best offers so far aren;t great... might let the whole thing go anyone interested in that? will whack some photos up tomororw.

  • and will go price up everything

  • An idea of what you want would be very helpful.

I'm not sure of what the value's should be, so will stick a finger in the air with an offer of £100 for the frame fork and headset (as I have seen entire Langster f/f/h being offered for £90 BIN on eBay).

  • Was it an entire langster that was 8 weeks old? If so I would have got that already :) I've broken down all the components buy I might just sell that whole bike if it's what you're after?

  • It's actually for a mate of mine so I shall have to check on the parts requirement.

And no, it was for a Langster frame/fork/headset- the seller had 50 of them from memory.

  • *Basic rules for classifieds:

    • You must post the classified advert in the Classifieds forum.

    • You must use a thread prefix if one is applicable. If more than one is applicable you must select the one that you most wish to happen. I.e. select "For Sale" even if you are also willing to trade but would prefer to sell.

    • If you are selling your item via eBay or another site, and the audience is not restricted to the forum membership, then you should NOT post it on here as it will be deleted (read the first paragraph of this post again). Exception: Other people are allowed to discover your eBay advert and post it in the eBay/Craigslist finds thread.

    • No bumping on anything you're offering (for sale or trade)! Exceptions: 1) If you included a price as per the advisory, you can bump the thread to drop the price. 2) If you hadn't added enough information (such as photos) and now want to.

    *Advisory (not rules):

    • Update the thread (or close it) when your item has sold.

    • Put a price in the first post, with ONO (Or Nearest Offer) if you're willing to negotiate.

The first post of any thread in the Classifieds forum will automatically show additional information about the person that created the thread. This is provided solely to help you form an opinion of trust and does not imply any endorsement by the London Fixed-gear and Single-speed forum of the person in question.

not trying to be an arse or anything but this 'deal or no deal' selling technique is getting a bit tiresome

  • i agree wayne, its awkward and annoying trying to see how much something's going for and seeing that the seller "don't know what its worth imho, make me an offer". research fail.

you can always state what you would like for the item and make sure it is clear that you are willing to negotiate the price.

  • £120 frameset (frame, forks, integrated headset)
£75 crankset (black Sugino 42t messenger, 130 BCD, 170mm length)
    £20 rear v-Brake
    £10 Fuji stem (1&1/8th x 120mm)

sorry guys I've added prices and will read rules. Incidentally I can't sell the wheels yet as the ones i was getting to replace have been delayed.

    ta

  • also would swap messenger set for silver ones http://www.londonfgss.com/thread24241.html

  • Condor sell the sugino RD (messenger) crankset for £65 new.

  • not a bad price for the frameset tho…

  • okay I'll go buy a silver crankset Monday and, if you're right, I'll sell em for £50 :)

  • Just for those who want to know the TT and ST of the langster;

    ST - 58cm
    TT - 60cm

(I was checking the geo as I was interested in it, a bit too long on the TT for me sadly).

  • no worries, thanks ed :)
