No idea what the Alf Webb or Planet-X hubs are like. If they're anything like System-Ex/Formula/etc then they're good for the money. As peeps above have said already - loadsa peeps have them and loadsa peeps like them. I've had mine for a year and I can't fault them. Then again I've only been riding for little over a year...
