  • And i think Dave from polo, you zoomed past me on the incline up and over waterloo bridge, i thought i was doing really well getting up that rise, and then you cycle past and show me up! Any way good morning to you!

yep, was me. sorry i didn't say hi, was in a sleepy trance and running a little late for work

  • A few people in/around Condor this lunchtime - just after 1. Black BMW parking up inside with charge hubs, owner had a checked shirt, my bike was outside so you wouldn't have noticed me.

Bob Jackson owner with white oury grips and tiny risers, I 'solved your problem', if you're on here didn't get a proper look at your bike till you'd gone but very nice. I was the white flyer...

Definitely me. Sorry, my hangover was keepingme from noticing peoples bikes or faces. Everything on todays ride was just a blur of a moving shape.

    Where abouts were you?

  • ^ so that's your explanation

    no, it's a strategy.

Had to be covered up with pretty music, dodgy effects and bad compression.

  • oh man.
that would have been so much better if the rider ended up on his date at the end.

ha! I was wandering down there thinking "doesn't look like the recession has *quite *hit here yet"

  • Slack chain.

Now with added actual proof. I think from now on all spots should be on video or they didn't happen.

  • Veevee calling me by mistake this afternoon and not listening as I shouted at her to hang up..

  • hahaha, just noticed the call on my phone.

  • Definitely me. Sorry, my hangover was keepingme from noticing peoples bikes or faces. Everything on todays ride was just a blur of a moving shape.

Wasn't on my bike mate, had already been at work for a few hours by the time i saw you. You were negotiating the junction by Soho Street, i was buying coffee for some mug who can't buy there own at my work.
Nice bike mate, the Hubs look dope with the all black!

  • Aleksi at Camberwell Green track standing for ages.

  • So many friendly people.

Been stopped loads today by nice people wanting to talk about my bike and fixed gear in general. Here are a few of the more interesting ones:

A very cheery bus driver outside New Cross Sainsburys who said he had a fixed gear in his cellar that he hadn't used for over 20 years, said after seeing so many people riding them he's gonna dust his off and start riding again.

A train conductor who chatted with me the whole way from East Croydon to Barnham about fixed gear and bikes in general, said he wanted to buy a Chrome backpack after seeing mine.

Another happy person when I got off the train at Barnham who complemented me on my bike and told me how he used to work as a framebuilder at Brian Rourke. Very interesting guy.

    What a great day!

  • past few weeks seen the same guy on a purple lo-pro with bullhorns and messenger bag on lordship lane - clearly likes his speedo pizza
