Whether you do the repairs yourself or not isn't really the point, the 'done' thing is to normally introduce yourself, engage in the community a bit etc before you start selling things... Also listing a bike as 'polo style' is always going to get a few peoples backs up in the same way as listing conversions as 'pista, fixie, track etc' it looks like your blatantly trying to cash in on something you don't actually partake in, and thirdly suicide hub conversions don't always get the best reception due to their unpredictability, especially if bought by a first time fixed rider even with a brake... Hence the harsh reception you've recieved....
