no not really, but there it's definitely better to not have the lock near your kidneys if your worried about them.

someone on this forum suffered a bruised kidney from a U-lock once.

But anyway, where's your sense of humour ed ? and why do u feel you need to challenge everything i say. I'm beginning to think its personal.

sorry it was not meant to be an argument, it's honestly a discussion about the pro and cons, I was curious about the motivation, the solution, the cost, etc. basically being realistic really (my missus hate it when I'm always being realistic about everything!).

It wasn't my intention to sound like I challenge everyone's idea, but merely discuss them to the point of influencing new idea, solution, etc. after all, there are almost no limit to ideas.
