You can pick up a cheap laminating machine from Argosh, or I've got one at work.

4 miles, in traffic, on roads you don't know, it could easily end up being best part of 30 min, might not be but that's how long I'd give myself in that situation
Traffic can heavily vary on a sat night. I've seen empty road and long tailbacks.

ha, yes! don't laugh! seeing them at hyde park later that week! it was my excuse to come in the first place but now this ride among other bicycle related activities have turned into the main attraction! a spoke card would be a serious treasure to us!!! i hope to get one! i'll think of something to bring from the states to share...

It's settled! We're going and we'll hopefully be prepared --- we have minewt x2 lights, spare blinky lights, spare tubes, a gps, grenades and train money... will we need locks? We just "trained" this past weekend by doing a 50 miler to the beach complete with heavy drinking. Our plan is 3:30pm Heathrow arrival, then we're checking in to our room in Kensington and napping until it's time to meet at Hyde Park. Needless to say we're super excited about this.
