By any information I mean; does anyone have any information? Have you or anyone you know bought any, any brands that do extta large sizes, anyone make bespoke shoes, anything at all that you know to help someone find a pair of very large shoes. thanks.

SIDI make them.
If you (or whoever this is for) has wide feet, Specialized are one of the better brands that will fit well without having to look for something like SIDIs MEGA sizing.

CrazyJames's got big feet himself (size 13?), and I'm sure he will give you advice as soon he spots this thread or you PM him or something. I believe he adores Nike SB's

Just went through this myself for some new shoes. I have really, really wide feet. Specialised seem less narrow than they use to be, Mavic and Shimano are out. I even tried the Gaerne shoes, with no luck, nice but still too narrow.
I now have some 47 Mega Sidis. They fit. Very happy.

Yeah Sidis are the only guys that make big ones. I normally wear UK 13, and the SIdi 49/50 seem to fit me just fine. Think they go up to a 52 which is about uk 15. Any bigger than that and your fucked.

Will - are they for road cleats or spuds?
[I've got a pair of nearly new northwave aerators for sale that are both hoooge and wide, for road cleats tho]

I'm pretty sure I saw some 52s (perhaps 50s) on Chainreaction / wiggle yesterday.
They were the only size left in a particular model and heavily discounted.
MTB spd shoes, forget the brand though.. -

ask ma3k to insert some cleats into the sole of your feets

I'm a UK 12, i wear size 48 shimanos, but I found 48 mega sidi's way way too long, the 47 are to small. bizarre.

did you try 47 MEGA? That seems to be the golden size for those of us well endowed downstairs.

i need to try some 47s/48s - the normal ones.

It's strange how different brands seem to vary +/- 1 Euro size for the same named shoe size. Width varies between manufacturers too. If you're particular about the shoes you get (rather than just wanting a pair that fit), you're probably better off contacting the importers for the shoes that you fancy. They don't seem to have a problem finding size 50 shoes for the bike mag reviewers, sponsored riders etc. I like Sidis, but even their size 49 (non-Mega) tend to be narrow.
If you were in the US, you'd be able to choose from a wide range, as everyone seems to offer big sizes there. Note though that US 12 = UK 11 etc.

You haven't really given us much to go on, Will. What do you have now? What kind of shoes are you looking for? Often you have to pay full whack for big (and very small) sizes, but sometimes you can catch some end-of-line bargains. E.g. see these cheap race shoes, cool for Looks http://www.cyclesportsuk.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1654
Forgot to add before - just make sure whatever shoes you get are well-vented or have a good bit of mesh on them. Big plates sweat a lot. I should know. -

I've got a tricky one with ordering some large SIDIs, I originally ordered 49s (mega) but they were miles too long and very wide so I sent them back and ordered some 48 (normal) but they were slightly too small and a bit tight. So for the Goldilocks order should I go for 48 MEGA or 49 (normal)? I have heard that the Mega ones can come out slightly longer than the normal size and actually I would only need a few CM longer than the standard 48's to make them fit nicely.
Will be ordering today cos of the CRC 10% extra off! -

not sure about cycling shoes, but walktall.co.uk is really good for oversized shoes, bought skateshoes from there in the past.

Also there is a place on Kings Road in Chelsea, can't remember the name but they specialize in oversize shoes/clothing as well.
Anyone with experience of buying outsize cycle shoes; size 13 or 14? Any information gratefully received.
