I think that hardcourt players would probably be after something halfway between that and one of the "fixed freestyle" bikes (i.e. like the Charges that various people have been riding). I think it would be possible to build a frame that satisfied both sets of riders actually.
Oh, and git it extra long track ends, because polo gears are a bitch for more than about 6 miles (yeah, yeah, DT does 400 miles a day on a 17" gear, etc).
