I think that belongs to a fella called ethan who runs the brum uni cycle user group thing.
1- There are more than one Pompino owners at Brum uni, might not be mine ("my" bike still gets spotted there and I havn't been to the uni for two years)
2- "run" the cycle group? I was an active member at best. -

Hi Ethan - long time...I thought you'd gone "dark" on forums.
I haven't seen any Pompinos on campus this year apart from mine. There are a couple of blue 456s which look like Pomps from a distance.

Hey, quit the C+ forum when it became bikeradar and have cut right back - used to spend a couple hours a day on forums and webcomics which is a spectacular waste of time. Found this site because people on the CM list posted links to it. Looks interesting.

Just been on campus as BUBUG's BikeWeek event was on. BG - Carole says hi, hopes you're doing well, and says come down whenever.

...don't think you can get a tyre changed for £15 at most bike shops. ...
laughable isn't it? Selly Cycles opposite the Sainsburys will do you a full service for that. They generally don't charge for fitting parts as long as you buy from them. Now, either they are far too cheap to stay afloat or other bike shops are far too dear. Supposedly punters still complain about their prices though...

Minuteman - be sure to get in touch when you get up here. I'll try to rally the troops together here and see if we can organise a weekly get-together.

Friday night drinks? Good idea. How about this Friday, Wagon and Horses on Adderly street in Digbeth, 8pm(ish, whatever). Even if only me and PistaBoy show up, it'd be good to get something going.
