  • Anybody know much about these frames?

I know they had some in BLB, anywhere else?

just want to hear your experience if you have one/rode one!

  • polish made track frames
    supposed to be quite good
    pretty looking lo pro frames

  • UTS

See how I was nice and polite and took into account Bish's relative newcomerness and left out the F ;)

  • Funnily enough, or not so funny in my case, my current project, a 50's frejus track frame has developed a crimp in the headtube. So imminent frame faliure is kinda well... imminent. My good friend 'firefly paul' is off riding the alps with his 'firefly' charidee cyclist chums and has kindly lent me his 'orlowski' track bike while he is tackling harsh gradients with his more sensible carbon affair, you know 500 pound brake levers etc. It's a nice frame, once I had replaced his unforgiving saddle! It's relatively light although there is no indication of tube origin. It's quite a tight frame so the toe overlap is noticable at slow speeds even with 165 cranks, but for the money I'd say it's an ok buy. You can feel the steel if you know what I mean. Anyway hope that was helpful!

  • i wanted one for a while, still do, nice frames, bit pricey in blb but i suppose not too bad. get one.

  • @ maxcrowe, can you buy them other than blb? if they were a tad cheaper I'd probably buy one.

  • i'm sure you can but you will have to shop around. i haven't seen them anywhere else but its not like blb is the only place that stocks them.

  • Anybody know much about these frames?

They're pronounced Orovski and they're hand made in a garden shed (a fully kitted shed that is!)

  • Jacek *OrÅ‚owski *to be precise ;)

  • I like the fact that he's a polish frame builder who is not pretending to be NJS. A retired polish athlete who learnt to build frames in italy, I believe, and who's back shed is probably nicely kitted out!

  • And isn't using strange Japanese type faces...

  • Kurwa!

  • his track frames are NJS certified.

  • Correct pronunciation would be Orwovski...kurwa!

  • Polish fail.

  • his track frames are NJS certified.

    now there's the rub!

  • Correct pronunciation would be Orwovski...kurwa!

    Orlovski.

  • Orlowski

l in Polish is pron. more like a 'w' or 'ffff'
w in Polish is pron. more like a 'v'

"Orwovski" or "Orwof-ski" is more accurate.

  • spier the dalai !
