I got a set of digital ones but the batt died. measure using a steel rule and t'internet. DuraAce HB7600 with a DA cog gives a chainline of 42mm, my Truvativ Touro Track cranks with 118mm BB give a chainline about 49mm, ergo, ordered a 108mm BB. Plenty of clearance on the chainstay to move the ring in a bit.
Worked out how I cocked up! Originally I had a cup and cone BB from an old 10 speed. It originally gave me a crap chainline so I flipped the axle (assymetrical) and it ran fine. When it came to swapping out for a cartridge BB I forgot about flipping the axle and just measured it's length and bought like for like.
Still don't know why a 5mm difference isn't that visible. Anywho
