  • I'm up for it!

It is amazing how much people have progressed since the start. I couldn't trackstand or skid or anything. I feel much more confident on the road now, and much more in control of my bike.

I do think we need to be a bit more welcoming/less showboaty at times though. I'ts a bit overwhelming when your learning to trackstand and someone comes wheelieing past you. I guess it's hard as, I never know who's new, and have a memory like a fish. So don't want to go up to people saying, "hey, want to learn how to skid?" when it turns out they are an ex-pro BMXer or something.

I guess it's just up to all of us to go over and offer friendly tips when we see someone wobbling in the corner.

That said, my experience of TDix has been completely supportive and lovely. I just worry sometimes that it was different walking into a crowd where pretty much everyone was a beginner, to walking into the current tuesday nights.

sorry I tend to waffle sometimes.

I'll be there tonight with sound track. Bring your ipods too.

+1, makes me feel like showing my face again
