Absolutely. Just about every single polo tournament I have played in has ended with London's polo players cheering for BAD in the final. They've gone the furthest in tournaments and they are the top London team. End of. To be at the Euros explaining to the likes of Paris, Karlsruhe, Berlin, Munich, Geneva, etc, that BAD are not playing because of our own qualification system will be plain embarrassing. I can see no strong case against BAD's inclusion, despite how you may feel about them not entering the qualifiers.

Tom, the case against BAD is a vote that said all teams must qualify, made before the qualifying tournament. BAD not taking part is based on their own decision to not use a sub, as a point of principal, in the qualifying tournament.

It feels like there is enough support to ask for another vote, but we really need to take into account all the parameters. If next week there are places left, the plan we talked about when agreeing to cap at 4 was to give them to more London teams, i.e. 5th, 6th. Now it seems we're saying give one to BAD instead. We need to be clear about the vote and what it means. Let's see if we can write something up that is clear enough for everyone to feel happy with.

you didn't play the tournament though. you subbed for a game. im sure thats a big enough difference, and it would be a totally different team. and we lost the game anyway.

Iain your not wanting BAD to play in the euro's has been clearly voiced in all 900 threads, i think we understand your 'principles' maybe just respect the OP, which clearly states, put your name down for whatever reason, if you DO NOT agree don't put your name down. Is that difficult? You didn't put your name down, neither did you roxy, you don't agree, i get it. We all get it.

No, dude, you don't get it. Iain and Roxy are trying to their hardest to deal with multiple pressures, multiple demands, and come up with a good compromise for the Euros. There are lots of issues going on here, and not all of them revolve around BAD Polo. Iain and Roxy are putting in an enormous amount of work on this. It has nothing to do with BAD Polo. You've done a lot of work too. But Iain's work and opinions have nothing to do with any attempt to explicitly exclude BAD Polo.

You know Iain is not scared of BAD Polo. Reckon Malice has beaten BAD the majority of times we've played you. The polo world does not revolve around BAD Polo. Why don't you give up with your incessant insinuations about how everyone has it out for BAD.

I have to say, putting up a petition that will only accept people who support your position and not allow dissenters is pretty fucking weak.

i know its difficult to understand, so i have quoted myself. Severel people have pm'd me saying they would like to place their name on the list, but don't feel they should, my response is always the same. It's a list, thats all it is, but clearly all iain and roxys hard work means they can disregard a polite request. My hard work of course means, nada.
