Same here TBH not as bad as i thought, but not as good as the superlatives the press are throwing around would have you believe, unsurprisingly!

On the Horrors front, I like that track who can say, sounds like they've calmed down a bit.

Damn straight! Their best album by far, all about the funk.

mmm .. every track is excellent. they mix it up a bit on that album, which i like.
i also like 'one hot minute' although for some reason it's not very highly regarded.

I completely agree, I also like OHM. I think its because they're both very varied albums.
Although I prefer Frusciante's Solo work :)

I had the pleasure of seeing them in London as part of the Blood Sugar Sex Magik tour in 1992, supported by, ahem, Henry Rollins.
It was fucking brilliant. -

Good tune that. Dismissed it as soon as I saw Calvin Harris when I first saw it on UK Top40 playing in the background but fuck me what a tune.
I was the same- didnt think alot, then I heard it really loud at a bar and it hit me, great track!

Listening to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYyF-62G0UY
as I'm off to see them in August. Should be cool.
I gave it a few spins, thought I'd give them a chance. Half mediocre, half pretty ace. Well done to them!
