One thing Conti do right is their rubber compounds, hard wearing and grippy. For the most part Vittoria's compound is poor, but the carcass is excellent

I also decided I couldn't be bothered changing the cut and worn Rubino Pro on the Ribble and used it for the Dragon Ride, passing hundreds of Conti users changing tubes by the side of the road. :)
