......any band - one past and one present, which would you choose and why?
Past - The Velvet Underground - just because they look like a proper Sixties band, they made a fuck of a lot of noise and yet made some beautiful, tender music too....Nico, and access to some great drugs
Present - On the balance of all things considered I think Super Furry Animals would be good to be in - they produce consistently interesting music, have a fanbase yet can still walk down the street, they are critically accepted and yet they can take the piss out of themselves, they like messing around with styles and genres, they like a 4/4 techno throwdown from time to time.....and access to great drugs
*I dont actually do drugs anymore, but I think it's important when considering which band you're gonna be in ;)
