Plenty of people here wear vans, they're low profile and fairly hard wearing. Pick a style.
Those Merrells look like they have too many ridges/cut outs and laces ect, they'll all catch on the straps and make getting in/out a fucking mission.
Just test stuff out, firm sole and little adornment are the things to spy out for, I guess.
