Agreed with almost all of that, but cuts do eventually result in punctures, since they allow glass fragments repeated direct access to individual spots on the fabric of the tyre, which they will eventually penetrate. This is why, given that all else about these tyres is pretty darned lovely as previously mentioned, I shall be deflating them and supergluing the cuts shortly.
