Spotted the fella on the chrome fix with neon transfers liberally applied to frame and bits (neon green bullhorns if I remember correctly) these last coupla mornings. Always a pleasure watching you ride, dude. Particularly enjoyed the shimmy between van wing mirrors at the lights at the end of Beech St (Barbican tube end). Nice bit of contorting there! I need to give that one a try one day (and also grow some balls). Lovely bit of trackstanding too. I think I might give powergrips a go soon. Currently experiencing a bad case of the '0mph clipless trackstand fail' fears!

Same courier, 3 days in a row. Yellow frame, front brake - long ginger hair, quite tall...
Also saw him at the HH jumble last Sunday. -

who was that who nodded to me yesterday on brixton hill?
I nodded to a few people last night going across London, Bexleyheath to Hampton, went up Brixton Hill around 7pm on my blue Lambert/Holdsworth? wearing Catford CC top with orange bag on my back.

Weird spot award candidate?
Guy walking a pink or orange (memory fail) bike wearing an Evans shirt in arrival area Gatwick North Terminal with a mate on a geared bike still wearing his helmet 1pm ish. You sat briefly in Costa Coffee. I was coffeengering.

On Hackney Road now, some dude with gelled back hair, tache, shirt and trousers, shiny black shoes, blue Pearson lo-pro with a carbon tri-spok up front and a white tyre up back. And a brake. And matching hipster girlfriend.
sounds like bristlypioneer.
was indeed me!
Rocking my new front wheel!
also spotted Crazy James, (who did a skid on request!)
plus Oliver Schick and Shinscar and seemingly every other bugger on this site recently!
Was off to a lingerie launch at Bordello on Gt Eastern St, ooh er missus!

The Front Wheel Looks Mean. The rest of the Bike is Pretty. Great contrast. Or should I say balance.

i will take your word for it (don't usually have much to do with the middle-aged ladies of Islington).
Like cliveo, you could say I'm married to one, depending on your definition of middle-aged.
But then again, my wife isn't a lady. She's a woman, FFS.

You know what dude, I reckon that front wheel would look pretty sweet sprayed up white.
-
• #15742
what is the wheel? is it a reeeeeeeeeeeeally old hed / specialized?
-
• #15743
it's made by Rhino Tec ???
apparently they are an old Norwich based company who I don't think exist anymore.
it's actually a 26" mountain bike wheel, although I fitted a 28c gatorskin on it, and it runs fine and you couldn't tell the difference between it and a 650c.
best thing, got it on ebay, with the conversion kit to turn it into a rear. £51 all in including postage!!

about 45 minutes ago, spotted a (in my opinion) strange/odd looking bike going up abbey road towards west hampstead. from back to front (inc. the rims) it was a kind of dark orange to beige-y gradient, with writing in what looked like black marker pen all over the frame. brakeless etc. i was parked in my car & i shouted 'do a skid' but to no avail because the windows were still up...

Think I saw you again today with the lady. In fact I reckon my spot rate will go through the roof as I've moved into the front room in my flat and just sit here all day watching the traffic
and wanking. -

koens I think on the Hipster Spice Route (Theobald Road) heading east, unless someone else brought a large bright orange BMW Gangsta.

saw this dude in camden earlier. pretty sure it was a unipack. really bizarre rough paint job. looked like hand painted with acrylics or something and marker pen writing. heh.

The first legitimate asm arrospok sale. You heard it here first folks.
The first 5 people to PM me about aerospokes after this message will get absolutely nothing.

saw fluff this morning, aldwych on onwards. good to see you back on the bike flower.
and spotted hillbilly and miss socks on the cover of a menu in a french restaurant
That pic took age's to get right, my fingers were so soar after.
Saw a few people around to day, but names escape me. Hello anyways.
Ha! That bit of road is the sketchiest bit of tarmac in town, I think I was distracted navigating the caves and potholes.
