roflolm. . . what the fuck? Had offers on raleigh and Aende which have been accepted, will re-post if they fall through. No-one want the other? Make an offer, I need to clear space!
-
• #10
If the Aende falls through, please let me know. Would you have any idea where to get transfers for the early Aende's?
-
• #11
Early Aendé frames had a simple clear vinyl wrap-around, er, sticker with Aendé in a very square block print. I could take a photo of the type face on mine if you want to try to get someone to reproduce it.

Just so confirm that all these are frames and forks only(Aende comes with H-set- Tange) and the raleigh if definitely sold, Aende has interest. Want to get rid of the other (the gold one) so if you want it shout!

I'll go ahead and get what HLoyds have but would greatly appreciate it if I could get some photos of the original early stickers if anyone is willing to help.
Cheers,

Thanks Dick,
Still in the nursery so can't PM yet, I can scan the new ones when they arrive, it doesn't look like they have any small ones for the head tube. -

Ok, got the email address. Edit it out of the posting if you wish (I would).

Sorry for the crap photos, lent my decent camera to my sister. Finally admitted I need larger frames so am selling these.
Aende late 70s/early 80's
seat tube ctt 56cm
toptube ctc 55cm
27.2mm seat post
Short drop nutted brake fittings
rear dropouts 124mm (been running 126, sure will be fine squeezing down to 120)
531SL, campagnolo dropouts, BB shell stamped Nervex.
Tange headset- not buttery smooth but greased and perfectly serviceable.
This frame is the dogs, built by a guy who lived in Nottingham apparently called Pongo. Which has to be respected. In 531SL, I think the lightest 531 and pretty rare, particularly in undented condition. The paintwork is good, touched up here and there, not perfect but looks damn good. Most Aende's seem to be low pro n such and this road frame seems to be a rarity. Am spending £150 replacing (thanks Hilary) and am looking for as close to that as possible feel free to make an offer, I have one of £100 allready but would like to get a little closer to the above figure. The pic of the dude with the moustache is not me but a random pic I found, would like to think it is this frame. Here are some nearly built up photos

Raleigh 531c, 80's
seat tube ctt 57
top tube ctc 56cm
rear dropouts 126mm
short drop for brakes- allen fitting.
27.2 seatpost
Got this with the powder coat, told it was 531c, pretty sure it is as the frame weighs a spot over 2kg and takes a 27.2 seatpost. Be a nice straightforward conversion, powdercoat is obvoiusly filed away where I removed the brazeons and sprayed some black paint to keep off the rust(there isn't any). Was going to re-coat (which I can get done in Brum for £30 if anyone interested) and I have a shiny new headbadge NOS to go on it. Looking for £60 as is or for £90 I'll get recoated. SAULsaulsaul is interested in this but not seen the pics but he has first call.
Unknown frame
seat tube ctt 58cm
top tube ctc 56cm
rear dropouts appear to have been widened to 135mm
Haven't built up this frame. Most likely built for 27" wheels, nicely lugged but no lightweight, has an ellis briggs sticker but unfortunately is not one of theirs, braze ons removed previous to me getting it. Stem seems to be stuck, haven't tried very hard to remove, headset useable but not smooth. £25, offers?
Am in Birmingham but if I have enough takers will come down sunday on my way to brighton and most likely stop at my brothers on the river near Hammersmith bridge lunchtimeish for collections.
These also still unsold, campag brake levers, black cinelli stem, black SR seatpost 27mm

cheers all.
