  • No, cos it takes up to 7 days for funds to be transferred to bank account.
And he was meeting me a few hours after he transferred it. I didnt think he would con me either! D:

PayPal wont do anything because I organized a pick-up instead of posting it (so no proof of shipping) so they don't believe I've lost the item.

  • £40 as from the 17th Apple will be selling them for £61...

  • £41

  • £41

i thought you wanted a Blackberry?

Can I just advise you NEVER to organize a pick-up cos you don't get covered by eBay that way.
Isn't it a tad suspicious to pay via PayPal when meeting the seller?

there's a game to be played here i think! but yes, the blackberry is being organised :)

  • note i've added a cradle and i've unlocked the device... now THAT'S a bargain!

  • sold £417

  • Wtf!?!

  • That is insane! the new iphone 3gS has just come out and it will cost £370, so what fucking idiot goes and spends £417!!!!!!!!!!! on the old model..... some people are just plain stupid!

  • Some people won't have a great understanding of the "s".

The iPhone hype/PR makes it a good time to sell any model really...

  • i'll tell you why people spend that money... because they dont want a contract. I'll also tell you why the [s] is worth £500 for an unlocked one.

Hey ben, i wasn't having a go at you, fair play you did bloody well :)

But the pay as you go 3gs will not cost £500, i have heard from a friend working at the carphone warehouse that they expect it to retail for around £370-£399 max, the 3g model is currently for sale at £359, so thats why i'm surprised at people paying £417.

  • re-cycled I wasn;t being defensive... I have a current iPhone 3G contract so my only recourse is to fly to Paris or Brussels and buy a legally (long story) unlocked, pay as you go one... which will be about £500 :) ps

Great post, certainly very interesting, i'm currently torn between getting the iphone 3gs, the n97 or the blackberry bold.... what a dilemma :)

The n97 offers a great contract, £40 a month, 1200mins, unlimited texts and internet and email and calls to landlines!

Not sure how i'l ever decide.

  • The contracts on iphones are rubbish. £35 = 600minutes? I

  • The iPhone isn't just a phone though, for reasons explained in that post above :) I got one the day it was released and I couldn't imagine using another phone.. I don't care if the contract is a bit pricey.
