Russian BMX comp - pretty cool. A bit behind some of the western stuff but it was only a comp, not necessarily pros. Good to see BMX is strong in other countries.

Not a video, but pretty insane nonetheless, this is my mates 5 year old son (taken 2 years ago) shredding the pool/sugar bowl at the Rom, amazing:

^Sick! That kind of stuff always puts a smile on my face. I remember sitting with my mates at the top of a miniramp when I skated, and a 6 year old kid rocked up with a skateboard nearly as big as him. He scaled up the ramp and his dad passed him his board, we were looking at each other thinking 'Is he going to try and drop in?'. Having witnessed many inexperienced skaters attempt their first few drop in attempts I can say it's rarely a pretty sight and we were guessing probably even less so to see a small kid horrendously stack it. Anyway, he popped his deck on the edge, and dropped in clean as a fucking whistle, rolled up the other side and rocked-to-fakie, rolled back and tailstalled, rolled back again and rock 180'd.... commence massive 'smack your boards on the coping' applause and the kid was so fucking hyped up he tried airing off the side of the ramp and so nearly landed it!

I used to ride in plymouth. Me and ginger Rhys Coren used to come over at the weekends.

I once half cabed into the deep end of that bowl. I 180ed out of the mogles, when I went to pull round there was nothing beneath my front wheel and I just dropped streight into the bowl, Super smooth, people went nuts.

It was only after sitting down for half an hour feling sick and shaking that my freind reolized that I hadn't ment to do it at all. How the fuck I stayed on (and even made it look good) I dont know. When someone asked to film it I declined.

Reminds me of this one time when I was really young ( I think about 14?) I was down there with my mum one sunday, because my dad said you take him for a change!
So I had the bright idea of trying to pull a massive air out of the performance bowl, and fucked it right up!
I hopped/pulled up way too early, ended up travelling about 6 ft up but only about a foot forward, I shit myself realising what was happening mid-air, took my feet off the bike and landed with my back wheel hanging into the bowl and the balls of my feet on the edge/coping, shouting at my mum to grab my hand as I was about to fall backwards into the bowl!
I had to sit down for a bit after that, I can't remember the last time I ever bricked it like that on a bike!

Haha, It still makes me queasy to think about it. I think I probably closed my eyes as the front wheel dropped.

That bowl is scary. I avoided that one like a bitch when I was there.

Not bmx, but the guys got some serious flow, backflip transfer was sick, and check out the banger at the end?! WTF SICKNESS!
