  • Hee hee hee :D

Check my mini supercar plan in current projects in the forum which must not be named!!

Will do, always wanted to build one of these: http://www.zcars.org.uk/montecarlo/index.htm

  • I'm planning something similar but with a chipped/remapped 1.6 turbo diesel from a new MINI Cooper D ;)

Ought to be a real beast!

  • But will it have a VTEC? =P

  • Nope, diesel goodness FTW!! 60mpg and 260Nm :D

  • Nice one, I think I posted this a while back but i'm not sure, pretty cool (for a diesel =P)

And some more VTEC pics, because it's what the internet was made for:

Posted that pages and pages ago :P I want to be the first person to put a V Twin Ducati engine in a Z Car.

  • can't believe someone would leave a mint 1950's classsic porsche out on the street in camden everyday ?? (not this, but a nice grey one) :(

Whoever knew there were any Kiwi car enthusiasts eh? =P

Very Caparo, hopefully this one won't set anyone on fire though (except maybe with that paintjob).

Hmm not a fan. Other than the paintjob, things just don't seem to be in the right proportions. Reguardless of function, the front bumper is monstrous compared to that little spoiler. Car looks front heavy (visually obviously..not actuall heavier at the fron) althoguh I'm gonna give it the benefit of the doubt because the angle probably contributes a lot to that.

You'd be surprised at how much body shapes like that can fool you =P I'm gonna trust the guys with the pencils behind their ears who worked on it with regards to the aero =P

    YouTube - Elise @ Bathurst

    FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUCK

Lightning reflexes needed for that! Very impressive..kind of racing I'd love to do, filtering through the field like that. Fun fun fun.

EDIT: Obviously I'd have to actually have driving skillz before any kind of "filtering" action haha

  • On the topic of the multi-coloured cars, here's the VW Polo Harlequin:

Yes, that is the standard paintjob...

(pedant) looks like a golkf to me (pedant)

  • Ah, very good. I notice with satisfaction that this thread is gradually coming around to my way of thinking about cars. ;)

  • (pedant) looks like a golkf to me (pedant)

Haha yep my bad, so used to seeing the Polos, never actually seen a Harlequin Golf in real life.
