  • Can't see what all the fuss is about this strike when this community is founded on people riding their bikes most days.

    I don't particularly favour striking. It always smacks of the actions of a petulant child, but whilst they can they should. If I were in a union I'd be fighting for my rights by striking too I imagine.

    However, the strike shows Londoners persevering with mild grumbles here and there. And tbh I liked the crowds of additional cyclists on the roads. It made sure the additional motorists pay attention. In fact, I saw drivers this morning creating additional space for cyclists to pass through the stationery traffic.

    Not something I see everyday.

    So strike away, I say. And for longer. It gives people time to find other ways to travel so London can't be held to ransom every time LU Unions feel the need to down tools.
