Thank you for the advice.
I was afraid this might happen (new specialist tool)
Would this do the trick (not as nice but better value!)

I've used a Teng Tools 3/8" drive 15mm socket for these before, but I guess it depends on the crank. 1/2" drive socket didn't work - thicker walls.

If you'd like to continue with your current setup search for a thin walled 15mm socket.
If the preference is for purpose built bike tools, spend a little more and you'll only buy it once.
Campy tools last forever.

Here's the socket that worked for me:
Available for at least twice the price from Buck and Ryan in Holborn.

Anyone have a 14mm Campy tool, as above, that you would trade for the 15mm version?

here you go if you're still interested!
I am starting to convert my old training bike (Ribble Columbus SLX) and have "discovered" that it has 15mm crank bolts.
I have only seen/used 14mm before and a standard 14mm socket is all that is needed for removal. The 15mm socket I have is too wide/fat to remove the bolts.
Is there a special tool for 15mm bolts? or am I missing something?
Any help/tips or advice would be appreciated.
